Estimates of Deviations from Exact Solutions for Boundary-value Problems with Incompressibility Condition

چکیده
Methods of estimating the difference between exact and approximate solutions are considered for boundary-value problems in spaces of solenoidal functions. The estimates obtained apply to any functions in the energy space of the respective problem, and their computation requires solving only finite-dimensional problems. In the paper, two different methods are considered: one involves variational formulations and duality theory, and in the other, estimates are obtained from the integral identities that define generalized solutions of the problems in question. It is shown that estimates of deviations from an exact solution must include an additional penalty term with a factor determined by the constant in the Ladyzhenskaya–Babuška–Brezzi condition. §

Higher order multi-point fractional boundary value problems with integral boundary conditions
In this paper, we concerned with positive solutions for higher order m-point nonlinear fractional boundary value problems with integral boundary conditions. We establish the criteria for the existence of at least one, two and three positive solutions for higher order m-point nonlinear fractional boundary value problems with integral boundary conditions by using a result from the theory of fixed...
متن کاملSolutions for some non-linear fractional differential equations with boundary value problems
In recent years, X.J.Xu [1] has been proved some results on mixed monotone operators. Following the paper of X.J.Xu, we study the existence and uniqueness of the positive solutions for non-linear differential equations with boundary value problems.
متن کاملNumerical solution of variational problems via Haar wavelet quasilinearization technique
In this paper, a numerical solution based on Haar wavelet quasilinearization (HWQ) is used for finding the solution of nonlinear Euler-Lagrange equations which arise from the problems in calculus of variations. Some examples of variational problems are given and outcomes compared with exact solutions to demonstrate the accuracy and efficiency of the method.
متن کاملThe Study of Some Boundary Value Problems Including Fractional Partial Differential Equations with non-Local Boundary Conditions
In this paper, we consider some boundary value problems (BVP) for fractional order partial differential equations (FPDE) with non-local boundary conditions. The solutions of these problems are presented as series solutions analytically via modified Mittag-Leffler functions. These functions have been modified by authors such that their derivatives are invariant with respect to fractional deriv...
متن کاملNvestigation of a Boundary Layer Problem for Perturbed Cauchy-Riemann Equation with Non-local Boundary Condition
Boundary layer problems (Singular perturbation problems) more have been applied for ordinary differential equations. While this theory for partial differential equations have many applications in several fields of physics and engineering. Because of complexity of limit and boundary behavior of the solutions of partial differential equations these problems considered less than ordinary case. In ...
